Since running a successful cooking school in Germany since 2013, I knew I wanted to open a cooking school in Italy. My culinary journey spans a quarter of a century of exploration and discovery, from the bustling kitchens of Germany to the far-flung corners of the globe. Through this odyssey, I've delved into a kaleidoscope of flavours, textures, and techniques, each experience adding depth to my culinary repertoire.

While my expertise may lie in the intricate spices of Asia and the bold flavours of Indian cuisine, it's the timeless allure of Italian cooking that has captured my heart - forever. There's a certain magic in Italian cuisine, where the art of simplicity transforms humble ingredients into culinary masterpieces that speak to the soul.

My most important goal in creating ADAGIO accademia was to create a place where I would like to go myself and where I would feel comfortable as a guest. Secondly, and something that is especially close to my heart, is to be able share with our guests my special experiences from the world's kitchens from decades of travelling and cooking.

Even today, in addition to the manifold enjoyment of our products, cooking classes, tastings and events, everything still revolves around a special experience for each of our guests. If you visit us, you should take home unique memories of great tastes, unique wines, nice people and a completely successful feel-good atmosphere.
And amidst this culinary adventure stands Markus, my steadfast partner in both life and cooking, whose love and support have been the guiding light through every twist and turn of this journey. Together, we've built not only a successful culinary school but also a haven where passion, creativity, and connection thrive.

In the hustle and bustle of modern life, our kitchen serves as a sanctuary—a place where we find solace, joy, and human connection around a shared meal. It's a reminder that amidst the chaos, the simple act of cooking together has the power to nourish not only our bodies but also our spirits, leaving behind a legacy of love and culinary artistry.
And, together with my team, we continue to develop the experiences offered at Relais Almaranto and also now with ADAGIO accademia, to get a little closer to the perfect enjoyment experience every day.
